Kia Ora, Today I'm going to tell you about what we have been in our art class, this week we have been learning about mono-printing, first we had to do our drawing which we had to make it similar to Henri Rosseaus paintings, which is of course, nature-based. Then we got out or ink paints and rollers, rolled some paint on our paper and traced out our drawing. Here is how mine came out.
(classmates drawing)
how long were we working on it?
we started about 2-3 1/2 weeks ago. But we did not start straight onto the painting, we took 4-5 periods to finish of our nature-based drawings, and we used the rest of the time tracing our drawing and painting it.
How was your experience?
doing this in art was fun, I loved how I improved my creativity and I think I became more better in drawing. But mostly I loved how closer I came with my classmates and discovering their creative skills.
What is your painting?
This is not my drawing, but the owner let me borrow it for painting. The painting are bunched up flowers with big and small leaves inside of it. You can see the outlines of the drawing in the mixed up colors.
