How to make hokey pokey (dalgona candy)
Method:
Equipment:
- 5 Tbsps/Tspns Sugar
- 2 Tbsps/Tspns Golden syrup
- Pinch of baking soda
- Pot
- Bunsen burner
- Spatula
- Baking paper
Instructions
- Collect your equipment
- wash and dry your hands
- Add your sugar and golden syrup to your pot
- set up your Bunsen burner
- use a blue flame
- put your pot on top of the gauze mat which should be sitting on top of the tripod.
- melt the boil the sugar for 2 minutes.
- turn of the gas
- add the baking soda and mix
- Tip out the honeycomb onto baking paper
- let it cool
- clean up your equipment.
