Sock burn school had an art gallery inside the school hall. The art was all about sustainable and unsustainable. In kahikatea we made a mural, 3-d sculptures and pictures of good and bad things happening to our world. The mural was all about pollution and rubbish in the ocean. It was really sad when kahikatea heard that the sea animals were dying because people have been littering in the sea. Pohutukawa did very well with there work that they did for inquiry. My favorite art was pohutukawa’s hanging fish and matai’s stop motion. When I walked in the hall with the lab homegroup I was amazed.
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Kia Ora Lita,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Hazel, and I will be one of the people blogging with you this summer for the Summer Learning Journey.
I think it is great that you have been learning about pollution. It is sad to hear about the impact that humans have had on the environment. I would love to see a picture of the mural if you have one.
