Kia Ora, this term for Hurumanu 3/Shaping up, my class has been learning about many things in this unit of Hurumanu. We have been learning about Lines/Angles (Parallel, line segment, point, intersecting) Polygons (shapes, lines of symmetry) 2D/3D shapes (nets) Reflection - which is when you try and copy or draw the same and exact thing/shape as the one you are trying to copy/Rotation - is when you turn something or a shape around from one point of the shape/Translation - is when you slide a shape from every point of the shape you are moving. (Scale/maps/compass/direction, and some basic fact sheets that our teachers have also provided us with.
Although they were a lot of work that we were given, I will only be showing you 2-3 sheets of my work, and they will be a part of Reflection and the Basic facts sheets.
Here are the photos:
The first and last photos are both pages of my answers to stage six basic facts that were chosen for me by my teacher, and the middle one is my answers to the Reflection part of the Shaping up Hurumanu. The activities for the middle picture were that we had to draw what the shape would look like in a mirror on every side, and the activities for the first and last picture were just from a sheet from our teacher with questions that are for our level.
