Te Whare Tapa Wha

Kia Ora, in my social sciences class for Mental Health Awareness Week, we have been talking about Te Whare Tapa Wha or wellbeing. Here is my work.

Physical wellbeing -  Taha Tinana - it is about your growth, how your body feels, how it moves, and how you take care of it. Some ways to take care of your physical wellbeing is are, eating healthy, exercising and sleeping alot.

mental & emotional wellbeing - Taha Hinengaro - Taha Hinengaro is your mind, heart, thoughts, and feelings, it's about how you feel, communicate, and how you think. When your Taha Hinengaro is strong, you can express your feelings and can reach out for support.

Spiritual wellbeing - Taha Wairua - This is who you are, where you have came from, and where you are going, spiritual wellbeing can be expressed through your beliefs, your tradition, and your values. Taha Wairua provides connections to your tradition, beliefs, whanau, community, and the nature and the sacred, and should go out somewhere that's special to you.

Family Wellbeing - Taha Whanau - it is about spending time with your whanau, doing things with and for them, you could take some photos and keep them as memories, go out on a special dinner as a family, and go on a family vacation.
